Attention all members of the Drunken Dancin Horde of Alleria! On April 1, 2012 there is a scheduled guild transfer from Alleria to Area-52. This new server is very Horde oriented and offers great potential to become the best guild in the world! If you have any questions about this move, please contact Scorm or Pilgrim.

For those of us that either to not want to move because we love Alleria, after the move, DDH will still be on Alleria, just it will go back to a level 1 (one) guild and we will have to start over. But this should not be a problem because of the AWESOME members we have.

After reviewing the raid performance of the guild and its members over the last expansion, "The Wrath of the Lich King", we need to address the following raiding standards and practices. PLEASE take note of this because those incapable of meeting these requirements will not be taken seriously for raids during CATACLYSM.

As we form raiding teams and groups in Cataclysm we will be looking for an improvement over the way we raided in WOTLK. This begins with the raiding calendar. Those that cannot use this calendar will be invited to raids only as backup for empty positions on the team regardless of your gear or level of skill! No shows will also not be invited to future raids. This means if you want to raid:

SIGN UP AND SHOW UP OR GO RAID SOMEWHERE ELSE

It is also very important that you are on time AND ready to raid. "Ready to Raid" means that you already have a few hundred repair gold on hand in case needed, you have all your buff food, potions, scrolls, elixers, reagents, and whatever else you need to get through the raid without quitting and bailing on your team members.

A log is gonna be kept of those that are late or come to raids ill prepared and asking for supplies and gold. An entry or two in this log and no more raid invites will come your way. Invites will also stop if you are never signing up for any raids whether you get online for them or not.

In Cataclysm we plan to use these standards as our guild to choosing and maintaining stable raiding teams that succeed! Wanna be part of the team?

These are the rules of the road for members of Drunken Dancin Horde. These rules are more about fostering the environment for success we all want:

N0 Cyber-Bullying - If this is the best contribution you can make to DDH or the Horde on Alleria realm do us all a favor and transfer off the server. And don't let the door hit your ass on the way out!

No Begging - This guild is not your piggy bank so if you have just joined pay attention to this rule because it has a huge impact on the quality of the players you are guilded with: Never use guild chat or public open vent channel on the guild's ventrilo to ask for any gold or a loan of gold or to beg for run-throughs.

Almost Free Speech - This policy regards hate speech. this isn't a kindergarten and I promise not to make it one. Therefore adult commentary and swearing and cursing are just fine. I believe in a free exchange of ideas and if you cant vent to your guild-mates who can you vent to? However, the "almost" refers to a ban on direct hate speech. These are ethnic slurs, sexist or homophobic comments, nasty references to people's religion. This is closely linked to rule #1. When you refer to everything you hate in the world as GAY or you use the "N" word liberally you are literally poisoning the environment of the guild. We never want anyone quitting this guild because they see a thoughtless comment like that and decide that we all are prejudice against them personally. We all have our prejudices and that's pretty normal, but an adult knows when to check that at the door. We ask that you do just that and save your prejudice feelings and statements for the real world and keep them out of Azeroth.

Beyond these 3 rules we encourage you to be YOU and play WOW in the way that pleases you most and not in any particular way that pleases any of us. Let your freak flag fly!
